StrongFit Boxing

Classes will include the instruction and application of boxing movements. Participants are given demonstration and will perform proper boxing stance, proper hand, arm, and head placement, and efficient body movement to avoid and counter punches, dissipate the force from a punch, and optimal motion to generate and transfer force for a variety of punches. Set-up, technique, and the application of punches will be taught in the following order; JAB, POWER (CROSS), HOOK, and UPPERCUT.  Defensive moves will be taught and incorporated in each class and include the duck, slip, parry, and “u” drill.   Core work and calisthenics will be built into each class. Be ready to have some fun and work hard!
